If I had a good life, or even a reasonably half-ass life, then this awful stuff that keeps happening would really trouble me. As it is, I do not lose any value to ME to lose my life, and more problems add nothing to that. I am still in good spirits. Peace is extremely valuable, and far more valuable than life.
Mayor's Demise a Tragedy
How Do We Reign In A Corrupt Government, Challenge the Corporate Nazi-Gestapo Mafia, End Their Police-State Regime, and Return to Being the Good Old USA?
Will this take a bloody and violent civil war?
HAT, the Homeless Advocacy Team is in reorganization. Our big project was getting Mayor Filner elected. With his demise at the hands of our infamous and corrupt news media, it has been proven that voting does NOT work to change anything. So, weapons? I do not want any part of that, but politics has now been proven useless as a tool of change.
The Mayor's sexual addiction, extremely common among leaders throughout history, could have been brought out early and he could have been forced to change. Instead, the news media and their Mafia owners used it to topple the only good Mayor that San Diego has had in 50 years. Enough said.
I know that Filner was at the top level Spiritually (we have interacted), which means that he had a huge amount of love to hand out. Very difficult to live at that level, because a man (or woman) is extremely "horny" (excessive libido) at all times. Not only that, the love they carry in such great quantities is sought after by persons of both sexes. A recipe for sexual addiction, and the reason why most Catholic churches have a problem with their priests taking a lot of their parish members to bed. Priests are at Filner's level of Spirituality, because they need to give off love in sacraments, such as filling a baby with love in baptism. I've worked as a High Priest and cannot handle how horny it makes me, so I understand the problems Filner has with it, and feel sorry for him. I, too, was taken apart by the Mafia and their news media, and I write about the sordid and corrupt details at NZ9F.com/Me. Been homeless ever since, but was once quite wealthy.
So, from here? Class Action suits have been a good tool, and we are looking to either disbar or recall City Attorney Jan Goldsmith, who prosecuted a man under felony charges for writing in chalk on a sidewalk! Not being able to protest can only cause violence instead. We also need to promote Credit Unions over greedy banks, and Farmers' Markets over greedy grocery chains.
On the homeless front, food and housing are not a problem. Food is strictly a transportation problem, there being thousands of church meals and food giveaways, provided you can get there. I list a bunch at NZ9F.com/B and NZ9F.com/F. Housing is only a problem if you pay for it, so the problem there is tickets for illegal lodging and similar. With the Court Order giving us the right to stay overnight, unmolested, on all City Property, all this is liveable, except toilets.
Our two big problems are Storage and Transportation, and Girls Think Tank, GTT, is trying to solve these. More on GTT under "Meetings", below. The storage problem is exacerbated by the use of a flawed Los Angeles Skid Row storage system, designed by L.A. Mafia politicians to fail. Use of Skid Row procedures and programs threatens to make The Bottoms, San Diego's Skid Row, just as bad eventually. I have proposed workable plans, but nobody is listening.
Girls Think Tank, now taking money from the City to operate its storage program, has become a city tool for placating the homeless, rather than a tool of the homeless to get dignity and decency from the City. We have fewer toilets now than when GTT started its new toilets program, and as we continue waiting and waiting for promised new toilets, the old ones are continually disappearing. What is reappearing is mounds and mounds of sidewalk SHIT.
The plusses are that both the Veterans Tent and the General Homeless Tent are now open all year. And, we do have a Federal Court Order that we can legally sleep on the sidewalks and in the parks overnight. We also have my resources website, www.NZ9F.com, giving meals, housing, meetings, and even college courses for free, our newspaper (this one) on-line at NZ9F.com/SDHN, and we have me on 3 important community committees. I do not get anything tangible out of any of it, so my suicide is still in my plans. The loss of me could lessen the time until violence erupts, which could be the end of the Real Estate Mafia Police-State in San Diego. And, related to the upcoming violence, you DO know that most of our gun stores are sold out of all weapons, right? Society is getting ready for civil war. Not me. I am getting outa here by suicide. The humans could mostly not give a shit, and the ET guys are extremely angry.
New Mayor Likely to be Recalled!
Flaws in Election Process
With 50 Candidates, Winner May Have 3% of the Vote!
I seriously want a lawsuit to amend the elections process to narrow the field of Mayoral candidates to a reasonable few choices before the election. All else is to get a Mayor with a small percentage of the vote, a recipe for Recall. I propose that anyone receiving 15% or more of the votes in the Primary For Mayor be permitted on the Final Ballot.
Who should be our next Mayor, Lori Soldaña, Marty Block, or Mike Aguirre? Todd Gloria, Kevin Faulconer, Carl DeMaio and Nathan Fletcher are all the same, Conservative Republicans, tools of the Real Estate MOB. Fletcher seems to change his label every month. The mandate of the voters was to have a Very Liberal Democrat our Mayor. Will the Mafia destroy them using their television news and newspapers? Of course. Will they charge them with doing something that they did not do, and then "prove" that with lies on TV? Of course. That is the way the MOB operates, along with bugging the Mayor's Office and other offices. Welcome to Reality! I once sold window anti-eavesdropping equipment for the offices of churches and governments, back when I owned Milwaukee Alarm Company and its residential division, Home Police Corp.
Since the MOB runs the Police Dept., wouldn't it be simpler to have the police kill whoever is an unwanted new Mayor? Then, the news media can say, "He had a long history of Mental Illness, and fired over 15 shots at our Courageous First Responders before they put him down." That, too, happens a lot when there is someone or something that the MOB doesn't like. Most of the sheep out there would not know any better. And most San Diegans wouldn't know the truth if it bit them in the ass, really hard. After all, that is how you get to be America's Stupidest City. (Actually, electing Lori Soldaña or Mike Aguirre would prove that last point wrong, but they would not last long as Mayor.) I especially like Marty Block because the Mafia hates him so much.
In the 1920s, battling Prohibition and Elliot Ness' new agency, the FBI, the Mafia bought all of the news media using drug money. Public Opinion is the only thing that could put the MOB out of business, and that gets controlled by your news being delivered by them every day. My family ran the CBS-News affiliate in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Dr. John Kitchin, Publisher.
Recall San Diego Mayor John Doe!
Police Out-Of-Control - Again!
Gestapo Persecutes Book-Readers at Library!
"In what way is reading a book at a library a crime, except in Nazi Germany?"
Some also engaged in a game of Chess, clearly a violation against the No Thinking Law! Concurrent with the beginning of the Mayor's problems (Filner), there was a resurgence in repression, harassment, and questionable conduct by the San Diego Police. With the Mayor in power, he helped to hold the Police in check, insisting upon rational behavior, and disciplining those who became too aggressive, violent, or Robo-Cop. All this is significant to quality-of-life issues, as well as the cooperation of the homeless.
Traditionally, the only checks-and-balances upon police wrongdoing have been Internal Affairs, challenging within the Police Mafia the behavior of a single officer and event, or the Police Review Board, or the News Media.
Conventional news media are actually run by the police, of course, who quote themselves as "authorities said", and trust the cops with all of their data and opinions being held as true. The Media are an important part of maintaining a Gestapo-Mafia Police-State, which has been our form of government ever since Johnson and Nixon killed off President Kennedy, circa 1962.
The Citizen Review Board has become so watered-down as to become entirely meaningless. They have no investigative, prosecutorial, nor punitive power. Small media accounts of police misconduct are prevented by the cancellation of media credentials, known as press passes. So, our police remain out-of-control, at-large, violent, and extremely dangerous. Filner helped to temper all that for the past 6 months, but it is back.
Recently, San Diego Police harassed a group of about 15 individuals playing chess and reading books in front of the San Ysidro Library. I tried to take a picture of this, but would have been arrested, media or not. By the time I got a safe distance from renegade police, taking a picture thru a window of the library, most of those being harassed had left. I can see reading books being a problem, if you are in the middle of a freeway, but at a library? Do the police know what libraries are for? Hitler hated books. In what way is reading a book at a library a crime, except in Nazi Germany?
Meetings
Most groups took a month or two off
Lots of material accumulated to be covered
HAT, the Homeless Advocacy Team, did not meet as scheduled in August, except the First Monday, already reported. It also did not meet Sept. 2, Labor Day, despite that also being scheduled, nor on Sept. 17. The group has failed to come to an agreement, or even an understanding, of exactly what its function is, and how it is to go about accomplishing its objectives. It does, more than any other group, represent the San Diego Homeless, but is unfortunately as dysfunctional as many of them (us) are. I am considered its Chairman. Their Web Page at NZ9F.com/HAT had to be temporarily shut down until the group can decide what it is. Meetings were also shut down due to lack of interest. All of this is being handled via email. ♦♦♦♦ ERG, the Emergency Resources Group, met Tuesday, Sept. 3, with 18 in attendance. • FEMA funds approved by Congress but not yet divided up. • Transitional Housing available in Vista for former foster children, now age 18-24 and families, call Jessica 760-842-6224. • City is harassing nonprofits over having people stand outside their agency, in line, clogging up the sidewalk and looking bad for business and tourism. No comment on whether this is due to a new Mayor being selected. • Oct. 8 is a Job Faire, everyone but especially the handicapped, Balboa Park Club in Balboa Park, 10 AM to 2 PM, free, over 50 employers expect a thousand to attend and will be hiring. • Various new housing projects available, and you pay 30% of your income in rent, which is supposed to be "Affordable Housing". I explained that we Homeless define "Affordable Housing" as that amount which allows a resident to have $1,100 a month left over of their income after paying rent, for other expenses. I took myself off the Section 8 Housing List because I no longer make enough money to afford to pay 30% of my income in rent. • There are 4 "Star Agencies" that get County money to handle poverty services in four County areas. They are North County Community Services, East County Community Services, another agency in Escondido, and South Bay Community Services in Chula Vista. Today the Featured Agency is South Bay Community Services, which handles poverty help programs from National City to the Mexican Border, including Coronado and Imperial Beach, that are outside of the City of San Diego. They provide a wide range of services, including 7 day hotel vouchers, education on fitness and nutrition, WIC placement for children and food, job placement, hot meals, and even help pay rent and utilities. Located at 707 F Street in Chula Vista, they have a free meal every Wed. at 5 to 6 PM. One hot deal is that if you live in Imperial Beach, or move there, the City will pay up to 6 months of your rent except for $100 a month of it paid by you. They will also pay $150 of your utility bills! 619-420-3660, Extension 1140. Clothing for work is available thru this agency, free tax preparation, free job training, transportation, and emergency food, as well as commodity giveaways from Food Bank (333 Oxford St., 9-12 Tues. and Thurs.) and Feeding America (Castle Park Middle School Athletic Field, 3rd Weds, 4 PM and 707 F. St., 2nd Tues., 5 PM). General phone No. is 619-420-3660. Addresses mentioned are in Chula Vista, not San Diego. ♦♦♦♦ The Girls Think Tank, GTT, met Sept. 5, and 16 were present, including 4 homeless, 6 attorneys, 3 volunteers, 2 community leaders, and one government official, from San Diego County's "Regional Task Force on Denial That There is a Homeless Problem." • The GTT legal clinic is Thursdays, except the First Thursday, at the Father Joe Main Desk Area, 6 PM, 15th and Imperial. The PATH version of the legal clinic needs to be moved to Saturdays. • The Storage Facility needs more bins, and the Downtown Partnership (formerly Clean and Safe) wants 25 more bins. It also wants to confiscate the belongings of people with only 3 hours of notice, drop off posessions at the storage area although they do not have either storage space nor extra help to do that, and give people a notice to claim their things there, even though there is no way to know whose belongings they have. Serious problems with the way the police and the Downtown Partnership want to handle belongings. • The Newton Tent needs discussion, too, but there is no Mayor to discuss with. • And, the Portland Loos (downtown toilets) has the same problem, and way more. The portable toilets at 16th and Island will be moved to 14th and Imperial, to provide a huge mountain of human shit in the area of Island Avenue. No word as to why. Perhaps the City wants to provide fertilizer for 2 million trees. The Water Man toilets at 11th and C have now been gone some time, leading to mountains and mountains of shit. Maybe we can be the CITY OF SHIT, for our tourists. Has a nice ring to it. • More tickets for Illegal Lodging, and more Harassment by Police than ever during the tenure of Mayor Filner. I have photos of police harassing people at the San Ysidro City Library, for reading books and`playing chess. Hitler did not like those reading books! And, at a library? After all, libraries are for the Nazi Youth to meet, not for reading books, right? • It was suggested that the Downtown Partnership (formerly Clean and Safe) have a sidewalk and street cleaning schedule, which can be posted and obtained on-line, to manage where and when cleanings will be scheduled. • It was suggested that another shelter, not having anything to do with Alpha Project, be set up in the old Downtown library. Currently there are 50 FEMA tents nightly in God's Extended Hands Church, which the homeless, ever making a joke about their plight and misfortune, call God's Extended Finger. • Girls Think Tank then broke into working groups, with two remaining: The MTS Group wants S/D/M (Senior-Disabled-Medicare) bus and trolley passes for the homeless, with homelessness considered a disability, so that the special passes would be S/D/M/H. The MTS Group also wants a more fair Carry-On Baggage Policy, rather than allowing rich tourists to carry on a dozen suitcases while complaining about poor people having 3 items. • The other working group is dealing with the City improperly handling the possessions of homeless, and unlawfully ticketing them for Illegal Lodging and Sleeping in Public violations. They are comprising a new survey regarding these matters, which will be circulated at the Commercial St. Storage Facility, formerly the Water Man group. The City will be storing the possessions of the homeless exactly in a building that they said would not be available for storage of homeless possessions, making it not available to Girls Think Tank. Lawsuits will proceed against the City, Police Dept., and Downtown Partnership (formerly called Clean and Safe.) Please provide your data for the lawsuits, including when and where you were ticketed, and what of your belongings, if anything, was stolen by the City. Details are important, so write all of it down as soon as possible. Photographs help, too, and juries like to see a visual picture of Slime-Ball Corrupt Crime in action! ♦ The ERG Meeting, previously described, had me in my usual role as the only Homeless person in the group, but with a new twist, the only Psychologist in the room. One nonprofit is having a very bad "burnout" problem of its volunteers and employees, who feel insulted when a poor person says, "Well, I suppose I have no choice." That is saying that none of the alternatives are acceptable and/or the rules of the org are not acceptable. The solution: Increased Spirituality of the employees and volunteers, preferably enough to deliver some love, subliminally, to the clients, in advance of hearing their story. If the cynicism persists among the clients, tell them that there are many help agencies, with many different sources of funding, different rules, different program availability, and way more, so try to find one that suits your needs. Maybe our agency is not the one for you. ♦
Theory of Homelessness
DR. JOHN KITCHIN, PROFESSOR OF PSYCHOLOGY
There is a cycle of about 12 elements
Often one or more is skipped, going on to the next one
All Homelessness is caused by Economic Hardship, plus the government failing to act on same, and to properly regulate corporations.
First a person is Homeless but has Housing. House, yes; home, no. Then, they develop problems of alcoholism, drug abuse, gambling, and/or loss of employment.
Then a person becomes an Un-Housed Homeless, leading to Mental Illness, Criminality and/or Suicide. There is no return from these 3 conditions, when caused by homelessness, so this is a race against time. Those who become Mentally Ill or Criminal will need to be housed in an institution for life, at the taxpayers' expense, or until they kill themselves, which is also "for life".
